What Data We Collect
For licence activation, Cumulonimbus LLC receives your licence key and email address. Device identifiers are used to bind licensed seats to devices.
Patient information processed by MVP Rad stays on your computer unless you enable the optional Cloud drafting feature described below. Cumulonimbus LLC does not otherwise receive, store, or have access to patient data.
Artificial Intelligence
- MVP Rad uses artificial intelligence—local machine-learning models that run on your computer—to transcribe dictation, read on-screen text, and draft report language.
- All AI-generated output is a draft. It requires review and approval by a licensed physician before clinical use. MVP Rad does not practice medicine and is not a substitute for professional judgment.
- Patient data is processed locally on your device and is not transmitted to, stored by, or accessible to Cumulonimbus LLC unless you enable the optional Cloud drafting feature described below.
- Optional cloud OCR, if you enable it, sends captured images to computing infrastructure you control under your own account.
- Customer data is never used to train our models.
Optional Cloud drafting
Cloud drafting is off unless you turn it on in Settings and accept the consent notice.
When enabled, the text of your draft report is sent to our drafting service to compose the impression, then discarded. It is not stored, logged, or used to train any model.
Do not include protected health information (PHI) in your reports. Common PHI in radiology reports includes: patient names, dates of birth, exam or study dates, medical record numbers (MRNs), accession numbers, phone numbers, addresses, referring physician names, facility or site names, and any other unique identifying numbers. Even an exam date can identify a patient when combined with other information.
You are solely responsible for any PHI you transmit. By selecting Accept, you agree that you—not Cumulonimbus LLC—are liable for any PHI included in text you send.
Turning the feature off stops all transmission immediately.
Cookies
The download gate uses a functional key cookie to maintain authorized access to downloads. It is used only for that purpose.
Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated as MVP Rad and its privacy practices change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
